The national category expert Katcnelson from
Dnepropetrovsk wrote about Nik Han in the article
"Property of Fatherland (or breeder’s nostalgia)" in the
magazine “Your Dogs Business” issue 6-7/2000,
http://www.petsinform.com/sd/sd7-00/nostalji.html
"…There is a trot, which named trailing. This pace
has not audible motions of finiteness. This trot is
characteristic for the German sheep-dogs. But the not many
sheep-dogs go silently! The only one Asian sheep-dog moved in such
manner in Moscow. A completely tremendous picture of the
Asian sheep-dog motion. This is because completely special
metatarsus’ position, which gives such softness. Indeed
it’s a silent cat’s run! Nik-Han (owner Hegai, Tashkent)
has such kind of pace. Nik-Han has shocked not only by his
motion but with his purely deprived roughness chiseled
alabay’s head too. An absolutely quiet sight, as well as
general behavior. Not any aggressive motions, but at the
same time full concentration on happening events. There is
an impression, that the dog is connected with invisible
chain to the handler (owner). Any acceleration of
handler’s motion passes in a dog as a transmission. A
completely harmonious command: handler and his dog.
Nik-Han is a very large (near 32 inch) and full format
dog. Length and volume of a chest are expedient shown. He
has long, practically horizontal sleets. The forward and
back finiteness haven’t a slightest error in a structure.
The absolute balance of motions at once has moved this dog
in the leader position. He makes an impression of
manageable young lion. This is my own personal opinion."
